Hey Laurie, thanks for not returning to the bakery. Your 5 kids hold up the line for everyone else. Teach them decisiveness and courtesy. When in public, it's not always about your kids. Show some common courtesy.

A very busy bakery with incredibly reasonably priced and scrumptuos baked goods. Love the mini cinnamon buns, cheese danish, to die-for brownies. My family loves their perfectly textured birthday cakes. This bakery has something for everyone. The line of loyal customers gets long, so everyone (the people waiting in line and the staff) appreciates it that when it is your turn to order that you know what you want to request. They also accept phone orders so they do their best to provide courteous service in a sometimes hectic environment. Take home delectable treats for your children, but unless you are teaching them how to shop quickly and efficiently on a budget this is not a place for them to press their noses on the glass and ogle all of the wonderful treats.

Sorry, but I completely agree with the shop owner in this case. "Bakeries exist for children"-- Ummmm, NO, they are place of business. I can't imagine 5 indecisive kids are great for keeping the line moving. This place is always busy and the wait is long (for good reason). I don't think it's unreasonable to ask customers to make up their minds before they get to the front. It's not like it's hard at Easton Bakery-- there is no wrong choice!! EVERYTHING is delicious! Thank god it's a half hour away or I'd stop by every day :0)

This place is great if you do not have children. I have 5. Therefore, I spend a small fortune buying baked goods for all their parties and events. I took them to the bakery for the first time today and was treated very badly. Not only did the owner tell her co-worker "this is why you do not have 5 kids", she was also very impatient when they were trying to place their orders. One of the main reasons bakeries exist is for children and all that surrounds them. I can no longer patronize this bakery due to their dislike of children.
