I used to really enjoy going to Casa Toro, but it will be a long time until I go back. Although the service has always been on the mediocre side (unless you sit and eat at the bar), the food always made up for it. The last few times, however, the food has matched the level of service. Our dishes have been served too salty, dried out, undercooked and just plain wrong.
As the quality of the food has gone down, the prices have gone up and the serving sizes have gone down. Occasionally, my wife and I enjoyed meeting friends at Casa Toro's bar during their 4:30-6:30 happy hour to take advantage of the drink specials and 1/2-price appetizers, but the bartender was kind enough to warn us that that too is being changed--it's moving to 9 pm instead.
Since I've had to return a few dishes to the kitchen, the owner who had always made a point to come over and say 'hello' with a smile on his face, now avoids looking at me. NOT a good way to satisfy your customers.

i would disagree on treating unfairly, i heard my one friend works their and on average the the waitress will make up to 120-160 in one weekend night..that just working six hours..so treating unfairly with wages..you have to be kidding me. if the employees do not like it i would suggest working at TGI or something..where they make 50$ on average

I have worked with this menu and this family for 6 years now and I can honestly say, if you close your eyes and point to something on the menu, you won’t be disappointed! It’s that easy because everything is delicious! Everything is made with the freshest ingredients and to order, so you can have your dish exactly as you like! Don’t be afraid that Mexican food will be too spicy- our mild sauce is a simple tomato sauce that has no spice. We also offer a red sauce, which is a tomato base with a hint of jalapeno. But my personal favorite is the tomatillo sauce- it’s a green spicy sauce with a tangy twist! If you’re a seafood lover, you have to try the Rollos Acapulco- seafood enchiladas with a creamy chipotle sauce. So decadent and rich, they’re TO DIE FOR! If you love chicken, watch out for the Pollo Colorado. We frequently feature it as a special and the mix of spinach, poblano peppers, and cheese stuffed in a chicken breast and topped with chipotle sauce, AMAZING! For the beef lovers out there, you HAVE to try the Carne Con Chile Relleno- a thin flank steak marinated and grilled served along side a Chile Relleno- homemade poblano peppers stuffed with queso fresco, battered, and lightly fried topped with one of our signature sauces. If you’re more into a thicker cut steak, we have the Tampiquena- fillet tips, marinated and grilled, served with cheese enchiladas, the PERFECT dish. Make sure to save room for one of delicious homemade desserts AND one of our kick butt margaritas. They’re made with fresh lime juice and surely pack a punch! And just think, this is only a few of the plethora of delicious dishes Casa Toro has to offer! And you certainly get the most for your money, our portions are HUGE!

I went in with my husband the other day and it was decent. The food was wonderful but the service was poor. Our waitress was rude and didn't know many answers to our questions. Over all it was alright. The food was speedy but it came out wrong. I ordered it without peppers because i cant have them and it came out with them on. I prolly wouldn;t go back.

The kitchen and most of the staff are amazing at Casa Toro, but the family that owns the grill are not nice people and do not deserve your patronage. I'm sure outwardly they are very nice people, but they conduct their business poorly and do not treat their employees fairly. To them family comes first, even if it means cheating their employees on hours and wages.
